Gerda and Kai are best friends. But one day, a shard of glass from an enchanted mirror lodges itself into Kai`s eye, turning him into a cruel boy who makes fun of everyone around him.

Kai is taken by the Snow Queen who lives in a land of ice and snow, but Gerda is determined to find him and restore her friend to the boy she knows and loves.
