Tabacco 1815 celebrates the excellence of the Tuscan Cigar. In 1815 a large quantity of tobacco, which was left to dry in the sun at the Florentine Factory by the river, was hit by a sudden and violent rain. In order not to “throw it down the river Arno”, it was decided to produce cigars for the people of Florence out of this amount of tobacco leaves. The production was an immediate success since tobacco was fermented in the water and the cigars had a completely different taste. Tabacco 1815 is the scent of a tradition born by chance that already celebrates more than 200 years of existence
