Olmeda Origenes Smoked Sweet & Spicy Paprika is a spice that is important in Mediterranean cuisine and used in soups, sauces, pickles, meats and fish or as a preservative for sausages such as chorizo. Paprika is made from the grinding of “Capsicum annum” (Bola, Jaranda, Jariza y Jeromín varieties) in the traditional stone mills. It is then dried with Oak and Holm Oak wood which is very common in Spain.
