Hexaclean: is an hand antiseptic and whole body wash, a pre-operative hand scrub, a cleanser in pre-operative patient bathing and to help reduce the risk of surgical site infections. It`s an antibacterial, antiseptic, and antimicrobial product whose active component, Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG), kills a wide range of germs, bacteria and fungus on contact and continues to operate even after rinsing, it also contains IPA 4% w/v. Our CHG skin antiseptic contains a 4% w/w Chlorhexidine (CHG) cleansing formulation. CHG has a broad range of efficacy and is proven to be effective at reducing bacterial counts on the skin at the time of use, and for a period of time afterwards of up to 24 hours. Medical Professional Pre-operative Surgical Scrub: Apply 5ml of Hexaclean 4% Surgical Scrub on wet hands and forearms then wash for 1 min,for fingernails use a brush. Rinse then apply a further 5ml of Hexaclean 4% Surgical Scrub and wash for 2 min. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Medical Professional Antiseptic Hand Wash: Apply 5ml of Hexaclean 4% Surgical Scrub on wet hands and forearms, then wash for 1 min. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Patients: Pre-operative skin preparation-wash the whole body with 25ml of Hexaclean 4% Surgical Scrub or as doctor recommendation Rinse and dry thoroughly.
